Shoebury and SCF played out a crazy high scoring draw this morning. Shoebury started the stronger and led 2-0 after 20 minutes with both goals resulting from crosses into the box that both found the top corner. SCF battled back before HT with clinical finishes from Crook and Fellows to look like honours even at the half. Shoebury though won a late corner from which they scored with the last kick of the half.
Shoebury continued that momentum and took a 4-2 lead with a cracking goal from Beji that looked to have settled the game. SCF though fought back valiantly scoring 3 goals in 10 minutes, Crook completing his hat-trick to give SCF the lead with 15 minutes to play.
Shoebury however would not be beaten and equalized for 5-5 as the game neared its conclusion which proved to be the final goal of the game.
A bonkers game with both teams attacks looking threatening every time they attacked!
Unfortunately, ATF and Leigh Rd had to postpone their scheduled game due to a waterlogged pitch at Cupids.
